Currently at Boots, they have a 3 for the price of 2 offer
on Revlon products so I couldn’t resist making a purchase! After a lot of deliberation I chose a nail
polish, their gel eye liner and one of their lip butters and I shall be
reviewing all 3 products over the next few weeks.
First to be reviewed is Revlon’s Nail Enamel in Scandalous.
As many of my regular readers will know, I have a slight obsession with finding
the perfect glitter polish, so couldn’t stop myself from wanting to try this
one out.
The colour really appealed to me, a black polish with purple
glitter, I couldn’t wait to give it a whirl. In reality, on my nails, the
glitter was more of a pink colour which I was a bit disappointed about. To get
a decent coverage I had to apply 3 coats as the black is quite thin. This meant
it took forever to dry, and if you’re a bit of a fidget like me, smudges and
smears are not a good look!
Now I normally always write positive reviews about products I
love, so posting a negative write up is a little different for me. The reason I
am reviewing it is because I’m in a real catch 22 with it. On one hand the
application process was hard work but I completely love the final look. Also I
have had it on for 4 days now and not a chip in sight!
It looks like I’m still on the hunt for my
perfect glitter polish for now....
I love Revlon lip butter! I ave this exact shade :)

DeleteI love the flecks in the polish. xx
ReplyDeletethats what I liked too :) xx
DeleteI would put it over top of a black nail polish, to thicken up the color a bit. But, I do think the sheer look of this polish can be pretty, too!(: xoxo
