I have been keen to try a coral/orangey shade of lipstick
for a while and come across Topshop
Lips ‘OHH LA LA’ a few times whilst browsing. I love the colour it’s really
fun, perfect for summer and I think I can pull it off with my skin tone.
The reason I am put off is that it is so drying! It dries up
on your lips and highlights any dry patches, any imperfections and really
clumps. Making it look like a super cheap product! All odd when on the website it’s
classed as being like ‘velvet’ and ‘nourishing’. I am so gutted as I have
always found Topshop’s Lips range to be really good and have tried a few shades
now, so I have no idea why this one is pants in comparison!
For £8 I expected a lot more, so onwards I go in the hunt
for the perfect orangey/coral lipstick!

Oh nooo! I only have one Topshop lipstick, I thought I'd love the colour but I'm not a huge fan (not of the lipstick, just the colour on me) but I really want to try some more!

It's such a beautiful colour so it's an absolute shame that the formula isn't up to par.

Aw such a shame it was a disappointment! I love Topshops lipsticks although I too find them very drying!

It's a shame this didn't work out for you! I hate drying lipsticks, nothing looks worse than clumps of lipstick! The Revlon Colourburst Matte Balms have a nice orange coral shade and they are matte but really really hydrating :)
